DermLite 100 Dermatoscope

DermLite DL100 speeds up the early detection of melanoma with an enhanced visualization of pigmented skin lesions - without the use of oil. By incorporating diode lighting technology for a bright-white, natural illumination with10x Hastings Triplet lens and advanced cross-polarization technology, DermLite allows for a clear and deep view into pigmented lesions for an early detection of melanoma and dysplastic nevi in a matter of seconds.

Enhanced Visualization of Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)

With 3Gen's signature dry epiluminescence and the elimination of glass faceplate, visualization of telangiectasia associated with the early detection of BCC is greatly enhanced. Vascular patterns can be seen more easily with DermLite compared to other hand-held dermatoscopes

The versatile DermLite has a multitude of applications. Viewing pigmented lesions, varicose veins, hair transplants, skin irritations, or skin lesions is just the beginning. Due to the DermLite's compact size and lightweight design (only 3.5 oz/99g), the possibilities are virtually infinite. To make sure not to run out of power, the DermLite's endurance measures over 1200 lesion examinations* per battery due to its diode lighting technology and long-life lithium power.

1 - 2: Hold the DermLite so that the LEDs are aimed in the direction of the examined lesion. Place the DermLite approximately 1/2” (~12mm) from the skin. Press the power switch at the side of the unit to activate the LEDs. Look through the lens with your eye placed 1/2”(~12mm) to 1” (~25mm) above the DermLite. Move the DermLite closer or further away from the lesion to obtain the desired image focus.
3: The long-life 6V Lithium battery provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation, or enough power for imaging approximately 1200 lesions at 30 seconds per examination. To replace the battery, squeeze the cap by its sides and remove it and the battery. The DermLite uses 2CR5 Lithium Batteries.
