Kvantim-tim d.o.o. processes and approaches personal data in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations.

The following data-protection statement explains to you which data is collected from you on our websites, which parts of this data we process and use and in which way, and to whom you can turn with any concerns or requests.

1. Kvantum-tim d.o.o.

The body responsible for the acquisition, processing and utilization of your person-specific data is Kvantum-tim d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as Kvantum-tim). Kvantum-tim can be reached via any of the contact options mentioned below. If you wish to express any concerns, worries and/or make requests regarding our privacy policy, be it in its entirety or regarding specific clauses, please send an inquiry exclusively in written form by post or e-mail:

You can request, at any time and free of charge, information about your data stored by us, and can exercise your right to correction, blockage or deletion of your data. To this end you can make use of the previously mentioned contact options.

Moreover, if you have previously registered on our websites, you can edit, change or delete your profile in completion at any given point in time.

Kvantum-Tim reserves the right to edit, change or delete parts of this policy at any given time by timely informing the user via the websites. These changes are effective the moment they are published on the websites.

2. Collected Data (Acquisition, Processing and Utilization of Person-Specific Data)

Person-specific data describes details relating to the actual or personal relationships of a specific or identifiable natural person. Such details include, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address, and all existing data that you disclose to us during registration and when opening your customer account. We won't sell, share or rent out any data to any third parties apart from the ways it has been described in this policy.

We collect, store and process the data of our customers for the entire processing of the purchase in several different ways, as described per this data privacy policy, pertaining and also including the technical administration, our own marketing purposes and to prevent criminal offenses and fraud.

Your person-specific data is only passed on to third parties to the extent that this is legally permissible, including the purpose of processing the contract or for invoicing, for marketing or if you have previously consented to this.

When processing orders, for example, the shipment company employed by us is sent the data it requires for processing and concluding orders. We use the same principle in payment finalization (via PayWay and PayPal payment system).

The data passed on to our service providers in this context may only be used by them for processing and finalizing orders. The service provider may use the data exclusively for fulfilling its duty (payment, transport, system maintenance of Kvantum-tim website).

Service providers are responsible for handling your personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies. The responsibility of Kvantum-tim becomes void the moment the data is transferred for the purposes of execution and finalization of business transactions necessary to complete the payment obligations, product or message delivery.

2.1. Customer account, Registration and Setup

For each customer who registers with us via the "register" function, we set up a customer account, i.e. password-protected, direct access to his or her existing data stored by us. This allows you, among other things, to view your already-concluded, still open and recently sent orders, or to manage your personal data, review the activities you've done during your visit to the website (reviews, products tags, wishlist, subscriptions) and adjust newsletter and notification options you've consented to receive during your registration process.

The following data must be given during the registration for a customer account (obligatory disclosures):

  • - Your forename

  • - Your surname

  • - Your e-mail address

  • - Your password

  • - A confirmation of your password

  • - Additional info (whether you're a natural person or a legal entity)

  • - Address for natural persons - Phone, Address, City, Postal code, Country

  • - Additional but non-obligatory data in case of a legal entity – Company, establishment or practice name, company, establishment or practice OIB

Data filled out during registration are used for the purposed of processing your order, issuing an invoice and for the delivery process of the ordered goods, as well as for the purposes of private contacting by Kvantum-Tim employees in cases conditioned by circumstances regarding the product (unavailability, delivery time, certain problems, service maintenance etc.)

Upon registering and logging into your account, the system will automatically submit your data from the user account during the checkout process and therefore hasten it significantly. To place an order, after picking desired products, we require you to provide us with your company name or your forename and last name, address and payment method (cash on delivery, via Payway online payment system, via PayPal or via bank transfer). During the checkout process, we require your e-mail address in order to send out an order confirmation so we can establish a communication channel with you. Moreover, we use your e-mail address to identify you upon logging into our website (we use it as your username for your login).

You can access your user account on Kvantum-tim websites by logging in. If you don't log out from your user account, you will be automatically logged out after 24 hours.

In order to finalize a purchase either as registering as a guest or making a user account, you will be prompted to answer whether you are older than 18. In case you answer you're older than 18, you will be able to finalize your purchase without hindrance, but in case you're younger than 18, the website is still going to be available for browsing but you will not be able to finalize your purchase or place an order.

2.2. Use of Your Data for Advertising Purposes

Apart from the processing of your data for settlement of your purchase at Kvantum-tim, we also use your data for the following purposes: to permanently improve your purchase experience and for making this more customer-friendly and individual for you; to communicate with you about your orders, and about certain products or marketing campaigns; and to recommend products or services that might interest you.

To this end we use the information available, such as confirmations of receipts and reading confirmation of e- mails, information on the terminal device used by you, your connection to the Internet, operating system and platform, date and time of the visit to the home page, or products that you have looked at, as well as information that we have received from you (including automatically transferred or generated information). Apart from this we also make use of your order history. The utilization of your person-specific data for advertising purposes can be objected to at any time, whether all-in-all or as regards individual measures.

2.2.1. Announcements, Offers, Discounts, Presentations – Newsletter (Advertisement activities)

For sending the Newsletter we make use of the e-mail address given by you and for this we need your confirmation that, as the owner of the e-mail address, you consent to receive our announcements, offers, discounts and presentations.

Should you later decide that you no longer wish to receive any e-mails from us that you have previously given consent to, you can at any given point do any of the following:

  • - Submit an objection to remove your data (via e-mail gdpr@kvantum-tim.hr)

  • - In case you've created an user account, you can choose manually whether you wish to receive our newsletter, edit your preferences, unsubscribe from newsletter or delete your data

  • - Use the unsubscribe link on the bottom part of every newsletter e-mail we send

You can submit your objection by e-mail to gdpr@kvantum-tim.hr (NOTE: Each e-mail sent to this address must contain the forename and surname of the e-mail owner, i.e. the registered account user or the person subscribed to the newsletter, the e-mail address of the registered account user or the person subscribed to the newsletter, purpose of the e-mail and a description).

2.2.2. Banner Ads

We also use the data collected during your visit to show you so-called banner ads. These are advertisements which we also use on third sites. It usually involves the use of so-called cookies or pixels. Our aim here is to make the advertising offers more useful and more interesting for you, which is why you will see, in the context of the banner ads, mainly products that you have either already looked at on our site or products that are similar to those already looked at by you (so-called re-targeting). Within the framework of the banner ads we work solely with pseudonymous data; clear-text information relating to your person (e.g. your name or your e-mail address) is not used in the cookies.

2.2.3. Prize-winning competitions and games

For prize draws we make use of your data for win notifications and for advertising our offers. More detailed information can be found in the terms of participation for the respective prize-winning game. Apart from announcements regarding prize competition games, Kvantum-tim can send newsletters to e-mail addresses of respective prize-winning game competitors, in accordance with their conditions and rules. Each user can at any point unsubscribe from the newsletter by doing any of the following:

2.2.4. Sending, receiving and processing of inquiries, objections, praises and suggestions

Each e-mail received during working hours (Monday to Friday from 8 to 16 hours) on the aforementioned e-mail address will be processed within 48 hours. E-mails received outside working hours will be taken into consideration the following working day and processed within 48 hours henceforth.

All written inquiries, objections, praises and suggestions can be sent to gdpr@kvantum-tim.hr or by post on the aforementioned post address. All e-mails and handwritten letters need to contain the sender's forename, surname, e-mail, purpose/subject and description.

3. Cookies

While visiting any of our webpages (by saying webpages we imply vitamini.com.hr, kvantum-tim.hr, kvantum-tim.com and lijecnici.com.hr), a specific amount of data might be saved on your computer in form of cookies.

3.1. What is on-site targeting?

Since our field of work selling products, we find important the data collection regarding the number of visitors on our website proceeding with purchase, where the users came from etc. This is the type of data our cookies monitor. 3.7. Facebook Pixel – how we use it and what it does

Facebook Pixel is a code excerpt implemented into a website that aids the monitoring, optimization and audience building processes for future advertisement campaigns. FB pixels sets up a cookie that monitors visitors on our webpages and thus makes it easier for us to approach them at some later point - re-targeting (p. 3.2)

We keep your personal data saved as long as you own a registered account on our webpage.

This includes any data that you have or someone else has delivered as well as data generated or derived from your use of our website.

- Closing your user account - In case you wish to close your user account, you can do so by yourself via user account interface or by sending an e-mail to gdpr@kvantum-tim.hr with a request to terminate your account and delete your data. Your user account will be closed within the period of 48 hours, whereas all data will be erased from our base within the period of 30 days, except for the data stored in the documentation that doesn't fall under GDPR regulations or is necessary to carry out legal regulations (in case of fulfilling regulatory demands, dispute resolution, preventing fraud and misuse. Kvantum-tim will withhold de-personalized data after your account has been deleted.)

- Data storage period - until your account has been closed, in a time span according to legal regulations for data necessary for financial documentation, or until your request for account termination. As necessary or every 5 years the latest, database sweep will be conducted (sending out e-mails to all users in order to confirm whether they wish to remain saved in our database linked to advertising activities)
